World Sushi Cup Japan 2013 Original Sushi Individual Competition傳統壽司個人賽 Top Sushi Chefs from all over the world will gather in Makuhari, Japan, the home of Edomaezushi, to compete on traditional sushi cooking techniques and creativity. 集世界各地的出色壽司師傅以傳統壽司烹飪技巧和創造力作比賽。 Eligibility for participation:Participants must have over 5 years of professional sushi chef experienceParticipation fee: 10,000 JPYTheme: “The first…” Example: “ The first love”, “The first snow”, “ The first sunrise of the year” etc. 參賽資格: 參與者必須具有 5 年以上的專業壽司師傅經驗 報名費:10,000 日元 主題:"第一次......"例如:"第一次愛"、"第一場雪"、"在今年的第一個日出"等。 The competition rule is as follows:Time restriction: 45 minutesCreate 2 plates (for display and tasting) with the given theme. There will be approximately5 fresh ingredients from Chiba which will be provided by the organizers. Participants are encouraged to use them. Participants will be notified of the ingredients before the event. Bring dressed/pre-cooked ingredients to the venue, prepare 5 to 10 flavours of sushi including maki and duplications up to 20 pieces to arrange artistically on the plates. Please provide recipes and photos of the prototype in advance. World Sushi Cup Japan 2013Original Sushi Restaurant Category Competition 傑出傳統壽司店比賽 Top Sushi Restaurants selected by All Japan Sushi Association (AJSA) from all over the world will gather in Makuhari, Japan, the home of Edomaezushi, to compete on traditional sushi cooking techniques and creativity. 日本壽司協會 (AJSA) 從世界各地選定傑出的壽司店,再聚集在日本幕張 Edomaezushi 家, 比試傳統壽司的烹飪技術和創造力。 Date : 7 March to 8 March 2013Time: 10:00-16:30 *7 March will be open until 17:00.Venue: International conference hall, Makuhari Messe 2F2-1 nakase, Mihama-ku, Chiba-shi, Chiba, Japan The competition rule is as follows:Restaurants will compete by creating 4 original sushi using fresh Japanese ingredients provided by the organizer. They may also use their own ingredients.The competition will run for 2 days with 2 rounds on each day. The participants must prepare 200 pieces of sushi per round in 60 min, creating a total of 800 pieces. The Restaurant of the Year will be chosen by the panel of judges and the audience with a voting ticket.
