Heat resistance refers to the ability of steel and metal materials of Air Cooler Mould(FURNITUREMOULD) to resist medium corrosion and mechanical load at high temperature. When working at high temperature, Mu Yi will be destroyed. It includes two aspects: thermal stability and thermal strength. 1. Thermal stability Thermal stability refers to the ability of metal materials to resist oxidation and gas corrosion at high temperatures. The common corrosion damage of metals at high temperatures is gas corrosion, of which oxidation is the most common, so thermal stability usually refers to the ability of metals to resist oxidation. Materials with high thermal stability are not easy to be damaged due to severe oxidation when used at high temperature. 2. Thermal Strength Thermal strength refers to the ability of metal materials to resist plastic deformation and damage at high temperatures. It is also called metal high temperature strength or thermal strength. Tests show that with the increase of temperature, the strength of metal materials generally decreases while the plasticity increases. For example, 30CrMnSlA steel has a normal temperature strength ob = 1100 MPa, and at 550 degrees ob is only 550MPa. In addition, at high temperature, the strength of metal will further decrease with the extension of loading time. Therefore, the mechanical properties of metal materials at high temperature should consider not only the load factor, but also the influence of temperature and time factors, thus establishing the high temperature strength index. Common high-temperature strength indexes include high-temperature instantaneous strength, creep strength (also called creep limit) and lasting strength (also called long-term strength), etc. If you are interested in our products, you can click Furniture Mould to learn more information.
