The TTRPG is an extravagantly illustrated, hardback, core book that includes rules to allow players to play the RuneScape tabletop roleplaying game, where they are able to create the characters of their choice, explore Gielinor and come up with new and thrilling quests with OSRS Gold. The TTRPG base book is perfectly compatible with rules of fifth edition from Dungeons & Dragons. It is expected that the RuneScape games will be Steamforged's twelfth adaptation of a video game to tabletop. Some of the previous versions include games like the Monster Hunter: World board game, which made PS3.4 million on Kickstarter in 2021.The trade of virtual currencies against real-world currencies can be a major issue for many online games, causing disruption to in-game economies, disrupting player experiences or making games Pay-to-win games. In RuneScape it is the case that trading the virtual gold is one of the biggest issues which has led to bots mining the resource, as well as claims that the ability to buy 'bonds' in the game for real-world money amounts to gambling. The company has announced that Jagex has laid out plans to tackle the problem. In a blog article and attributed to "The RuneScape Team", Jagex declares that "gold purchased through RWT is a problem in any online game featuring an exchangeable currency" The company also states that the "Anti-Cheating Team has taken a number of steps to fight RWT sellers both in and out of the game" the company will be taking more drastic measures with immediate start. With a "growing team and enhanced instruments", Jagex says it is no longer only seeking out sellers of gold and other resources through RWT but as well buyers. The aim is to limit the demand and supply.Jagex promises to send "messages to those that we've identified who are involved on"RWT" within "the coming hours". "For those who were involved, we want to be clear : this is the one message, and the only one," they added.Other measures the developer might take as punishments for RWT activities are expected to include wealth removal - essentially taking away gains made by players' accounts on the server level. It could also mean potential bans.OSRS Buy Gold's PvP element, called"the Duel Arena, will also have more stringent rules enforced. Jagex affirms that the mode "has been a catalyst for this type of behavior", and that 38 percent of all bans for RWT activity up until now originate from this aspect to the gameplay. Jagex claims that the number of bans already amount around "thousands of bans per month".
