While wandering through Central for a decadent dining experience, make sure to look for Jimmy's Kitchen! Our evening began with the Heritage Tasting Menu ($598pp).We kicked things off with the Prawn Cocktail and Wagyu Tartare. The prawns were perfectly firm and plump, coated in a balanced salad dressing enhancing their natural sweetness. The tartare boasted a bold beefy flavor that paired delightfully with the crispy toast. Next, we enjoyed the French Onion Soup, a delightful bowl filled with savory beef stock, caramelized onions, and topped with melted cheese and a slice of baguette. Comforting and rich. For the main course, we chose the Wagyu Stroganoff and the Chicken Supreme Kiev! The stroganoff ended up tasting like a standard tomato beef rice falling short of expectations. However, the Chicken Supreme Kiev was outstanding! The perfectly fried chicken wrapped around a juicy piece of chicken filled with its own delectable juices was a highlight, meshing deliciously with the mashed spinach potato. To wrap up our meal, we indulged in a stunning Baked Alaska. Now, moving off the tasting menu...Our party of three indulged in an à la carte bowl of French Onion Soup ($148), which came in a larger, ornate bowl, making it a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. We also tried the Steak Diane ($588), a tender piece of lean tenderloin that was paired with handcrafted fettuccine. The Angus Beef Mince on Toast ($188) was a hit, filled with a bold beefy flavor that was a joy to spread on toast, echoing the greatness of the tartare. Don't miss out on the Batida ($140), reminiscent of a Piña Colada. While there were a few hits and misses on the menu, the excellent ambiance and standout dishes make it a place worth revisitingShop AddressJimmy's KitchenM/F, Pedder Building, 12 Pedder Street, Central中環畢打街12號畢打行閣樓For More Food AdventuresInstagram: Viansian.eats
