Recently, the Fifth International Nuclear Power Operation and Maintenance Conference was held at the Daya Bay Nuclear Power Base in Shenzhen. More than 700 units from more than 220 units including China, the United States, Britain, France, and Russia, including government agencies, nuclear power operators, design institutes, inspection and maintenance service companies, operation and maintenance service providers, equipment suppliers, and research institutions More than 100 guests announced the keynote speech, and more than 50 companies participated in the exhibition. It is reported that, as an important effect of China's 40 years of reform and opening up, the Daya Bay Nuclear Power Base has continuously set an international record for safe operation. Its Ling'ao Nuclear Power Plant Unit 1 has had unplanned shutdowns for 13 consecutive years. By September 7, 2018, it had completed 4488 consecutive days of safe operation, setting a new record for the number of consecutive days of safe operation of similar units in the world. This shows the international first-class level of China's nuclear power safety operation, and also marks that the level of operation and handling of the Daya Bay nuclear power base has reached a new level. As the only exchange platform in Asia focusing on nuclear power operation protection, this conference is hosted by the Shanghai Nuclear Power Office and co-organized by Daya Bay Nuclear Power Management Co., Ltd and Shanghai Yingzhi Business Consulting Co., Ltd.
