I am never a guy blogging about his points of view, or updating his life to show everyone. I remember the time when I was a secondary school student, having a blog was a trend and everyone was busy updating a blog. Even at that time I did not develop the habit of blogging. So, here’s the question u might raise. Why do I start the blog now? I have a reflection on my methods of learning recently. I always read books, newspapers and editor’s comments regarding environmental, social, economic and political issues. Apart from reading, lately I picked up my old habit of listening to English podcasts when I commute to work. But I rarely see my gain and improvement. I always have a lot of opinions in my mind but I have difficulty to express logically and persuasively to people. I cannot figure it why until I read a informative article, which provides suggestions on how to improve English level. I realised that reading and listening are passive learning, in other words, it is input. It is important as you need to keep absorb new information and ideas. Active learning, output, is equally important. This is the reason why I start the blog. Not only will I express my own feeling and updates of my life in this blog, I will also write some comments towards certain hot issues in Hong Kong. Blog is the great way to keep me motivated to active learning.
