Today I am going to share some of my experience on visiting the most successful football club in the world - FC Chelsea's home court, the Stanford Bridge Stadium. In the first day of my trip, I have planned to go to watch a Chelsea matches against West ham. While we found that those tickets are extremely expensive and each of it cost me for more than 2000HKD. Even if I have a greatly want of watching a match of Chelsea, it is just too expensive for a single game. So we just have a walk around the stadium and found our way back hotel. While in the later day in London, I found some free time to go to the stadium tour. To commence with, I would like to let you know some background information first. How much do you know about Chelsea? You may hear of it located in London and play in the Premier League now but there are more you need to know. To let you know how great it is? I would simply list out the numbers of trophies they got. Leagues First Division/Premier League Winners (5): 1954–55, 2004–05, 2005–06, 2009–10, 2014–15 Second Division Winners (2): 1983–84, 1988–89 Cups FA Cup Winners (7): 1969–70, 1996–97, 1999–2000, 2006–07, 2008–09, 2009–10, 2011–12 Football League Cup Winners (5): 1964–65, 1997–98, 2004–05, 2006–07, 2014–15 FA Community Shield Winners (4): 1955, 2000, 2005, 2009 Minor Cups Full Members Cup Winners (2): 1985–86, 1989–90 European UEFA Champions League Winners (1): 2011–12 UEFA Europa League Winners (1): 2012–13 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup Winners (2): 1970–71, 1997–98 UEFA Super Cup Winners (1): 1998 Source: Chelsea F.C. The above numbers of trophies would definitely surprise you. And now is time for you to know more about the greatest. Through the short stadium tour, we would experience more of the football club. And we can go through the different room like the changing room at both home and away side, the media room, the player tunnel and the audience seat. Moreover, something just really interests me that is the solar light, as we all know the penalty area usually affect most as most of the shooting and players moving happen there that they take a big solar light on it in order to help the grass growing. Also, the banner on the seat of different slogan just impress me a lot and the wide court has just reminded me how great Chelsea is. Even there are no one playing there, I can imagine how excited every game is. To know how those players feel, just have a walk on the player tunnel and you will simply notice that. In fact, the Stanford stadium is not big enough for a premier league game as it have used for almost a century and there is no enough space for both players and audience. So they have a plan on building a new stadium in future days and as the tour guide told us it will happen soon. I hope you learn more from my journey, and if you have any interest in going to the Stadium and have some questions about it, please feel free to comment below. 點擊圖片放大 +5
