2015/03/01 I like taking plane, so if I met good airlines, friendly and handsome cabin crew, I will probably feel happy for the entire day. Some people said, it is cheaper to take plane when you travel inside Europe than train. Well, it's actually depends on where do you go. Basically train should be cheaper but it takes longer time, so after deducting the time cost, the price of air-ticket is worthier so I would recommend plane if you would like a shorter transportation time with comfortable seat. Here comes to some tips when you take the budget airlines -- Check the baggage allowance on both cabin size and number of bag, some airlines are very straight to the number of bag. For example, if you have a cabin size suitcase with you, but you are also wearing a small backpack, you still need to make your cabin size luggage check-in. -- If it is possible, make all of your thing in one hand carry bag or cabin size suitcase. As it is common to take at least two flights to your destination in Europe so it is easier to have a luggage lost. Hand carry is highly recommended so that you don't have to worry much about the lost. -- Extra snack is available. When you are taking inland flight, it is usually within 3-4 hours so there is no meal included. You may have some snack instead but it depends on the airlines. If they have provided snack like sandwiches, you can actually ask for extra. Remember, ask it after the crew finished asking all the passengers. I've only taken two airlines: SAS and Lufthansa. SAS with no snack but if there is a cancel flight, they probably offer you good hotel with free dinner and breakfast. (it depends on the time) And a small pack of "souvenir". Lufthansa provides sandwiches even in just an hour long flight. Taking Lufthansa P.S. Get free drink in the airport and check the time differences carefully so you don't miss or rush to the next flight. Here I am, in Frankfurt Airport I'll try to figure out more about the budget airlines, hope you can make advantage from it. Enjoy your flight!
