2015/02/27 I joined a student trip to Lapland, Finland which is held by ESN (Erasmus Student Network), basically cost EuR335. It was a 7 days travel and one day was in Arctic Ocean, Norway which cost EUR50 extra from the basic tour fee. We met at 7AM with other participants and the guide. We then took the bus for 3 hours from Finland to the boarder of Finland. After 45 mins break, we continued the way to Arctic Ocean for an hour long. There are only 14 households in the village that we visited. What we did here was swimming in the Arctic Ocean, sounds crazy right? Well, people usually take sauna before they jump into the ocean so that they won't get so cold. But remember, don't put your head inside the water, otherwise, your brain will get hurt. Bring your swimsuit as well. It was so windy that day so it was much colder then normal. Feel the wind After that, we had lunch in a restaurant which is included in the fee. They are Norwegian fish soup with bread which all refillable. You can eat as much as you want. It tastes really good. Norwegian fish soup You can also buy some brown cheese after the lunch. Brown cheese is the cheese with sweet flavor.
