話說我負責安排場內 所有膳食, 事前已委託人事部收集各部門人數, 以他們的智慧,當然沒有辦妥,還任由各部門誇大數目,我沒有權利控制項目數目, 當然照辦煮碗根據人事部要求訂飯。/ I was in charge of all the catering in the venue, we already inform HR to gather the requirement from all departments, of cox for sure, they let them over estimate the number and gave to me. I do not have the authority to criticize their numbers, so i just ordered what they submitted. 第一天過去, 有憑券食飯的人數 不夠7成!雖然最後剩下的都分發給保安和清潔工,總監當然仍大怒!/Not more than 70% of the meals were consumed, even we gave away extra to cleaners and security, our project director is mad! 咁我立即減少聽日及往後的數量。。/So I reduced the number for the following days. 點知第二日某早上...../ What happened the next day was : 同事F : 呢個部門今日要多咗40張。。/ Staff F: I gave 40 more vouchers to this department 我 : 下,你冇嘢呀?做咩要咁多?/ Me: Why? What is that for? 同事F: 佢哋話要, 今日多咗人返工!/ Staff F: They said there were more people working today! 我: ( 冇嘢呀? 我夠要多40張1000蚊紙啦,今個月多咗使費, 你又比唔比我?)點解佢哋會多咗人返工? 人事部唔係事前會知咩?/ Me: ( Why don't you give me more money? I also need it.) Why were they having more staff working today? HR doesn't know it in advance? 同事F: 支吾以對。。。erh 。or。 erh or。。。/ Staff F: ...erh....or....ar... 我: 你唔問下我訂咗幾多飯,夠唔夠先派架?唔夠咁點?邊個負責? (當然我會被問責啦, 佢死坐係佢個Check-in 位全日16 個鐘, 人哋無飯食當然搵膳食安排者啦)/ Me: Why didn't you ask me whether there will be enough before you giving vouchers away? Who will be responsible for them if they have no food? ( Of cox that will be me, cox he was just sitting there at his check-in counter for 16 hours doing nothing) 同事F:。。。。/ Staff: ..... 我: 咁你宜家expect 今日幾多人?今日派咗幾多餐券?/ Me: So now, how many people are you expecting? How many vouchers have you given? 同事F: 等我同阿頭講。。/ Staff F: Let me call the my manager. 所謂嘅人事部阿頭當然係一啖擔。。。/ I didn't expect any constructive response from the manager. 阿頭S :咁你而家Order 咗幾多?/ Manager S: So how many have you ordered? 我:由於無人食嘅關係,我減咗2成。/Me: Since there is a lot of left over, i reduce by 20 % 阿頭S :大驚!下? 我哋要咁多喎, 點解order 咁少???加上總監話approve。/ Manager S : She was shocked. We need that, why you only ordered that much? 下刪數百字。。。 我唔想再爭辯: 咁你send個email 指示我依家要order咁多咁多啦。/ Me: I didnt want to keep arguing, so please send me your instruction for how many I should order. 阿頭S :好。/ Manager S: Ok 10 分鐘後。。check email, 發現同佢剛才要嘅唔同數量。返去再問佢。。/ 10 minutes later, I checked email, I found the number she sent was not the one she said just now, and then I went back and asked. 阿頭S :唔係喎,啱喎,開email我睇 。。。(look 到所有email 來往嘅最低部份): 你睇!/ Manager S: No, it was right.
