筆友...這似曾相識的名字... A well known term 20 years back.... 曾幾何時 渴望結識外國朋友, 結交筆友是唯一途經... We used to meet and get to know a foreign friends by making pen- pals .... 在這資訊科技迅速發展的時代, 寫信寄信對這一代人來說尤其罕有.....however, people in modern time nowadays rarely write letters... 筆友 - 當然是個既落後又陌生的詞語...Pen Pal turned to be a backward and unfamiliar word nowadays.. 由於筆友是德國人, 打算到奧地利時, 見德國是鄰近的國家, 姑且問問她會否有機會見面, 怎料她很爽快, 就說來維也納渡週末, 下星期見吧! My pen pal is from Germany, since I confirmed my trip to Austria, I asked her occasionally whether we could meet there since it is quite closed to Germany, she said yes straight away and see me on weekend! 我們第一次書信來往始於 18年前, 1996 年, 年輕時從沒想過長大後會再外國生活工作, 更何況中東! Out first letter dated 18 years back in 1996, I never thought that I will be living and working abroad, not to mention be in the Middle East! 亦很少會有外國朋友, 加上從未收過外國寄來的信件, 當時每次收到從外國朋友的來信時, 那份感動,興奮遠比現在世界各地的朋友發的短訊 . 每次回信是是滋味在心頭. 還期待下次的來信! When we were young, we do not have any foreign friends, and for sure, never receiving any mail from overseas, it was so exciting and touching everytime a letter was found in the mail box. 我從無想像我們真有一日能見面, 更不能相信我有機會抱著從前簡單真摯的心 與一個相知18年 但素未謀面的"老" 朋友見面...I Never thought we could meet one day!
