Self drilling rock bolt is a new type of anchoring support tool. It is widely used and can be applied in anchoring projects such as tunnel advance support, slope protection, deep foundation pit support, and water conservancy and hydroelectric projects. It can be used under any geological conditions, even in unstable soils (broken rock layers, soft soil layers, swamps). Under unstable soil, the self drilling bolt can increase soil quality by more than 20% through drilling, grouting and anchoring. The anchor bolt penetrates deep into the soil and the complete bond over the entire length allows the loose wedge at the surface to be trapped in the deeper soil layer. Anchor bolts are generally considered to be low risk devices. Soil nails should be planned in a diamond mesh to ensure an effective distribution of the steel bars. The use of rock bolts is a very flexible and efficient construction process. It is easy to install and can be installed with a small robotic arm or a hammer. And it integrates drilling, grouting and anchoring, the construction time is reduced, and the efficiency is improved.
