With FIFA 21 just around the corner, some FIFA developers have simulated the new season in Career mode, and the results might surprise you. It's important to note that this was fully simulated so any team could have signed anyone. The first two stayed the same last season, but Liverpool weren't in the league at FIFA ... they'd defeated City with just one win.At FIFA, Liverpool finished with 90 points, City with 87 points. This is where the simulation becomes interesting because the Spurs, of all places, take third place. What's even more incredible is that they're just four points behind Man City and five points ahead of Chelsea, who comes fourth in this simulation. They also have the Spurs, who lose the fewest number of any team's games in the league. They just miss the Champions League, but the two Europa League venues have Man United and Arsenal. With the latest addition in the form of Donny van de Beek and the good looks towards the end of last season, this should surprise some fans.Arsenal's positioning seems reasonable despite recently winning the FA Cup and Community Shield.Arsenal always seem to do well in glasses, but when it comes to the league they seem like one of the most cursed. With newly appointed coach Carlo Ancelotti and his new signings, FIFA clearly believes Everton will be a good side again this season as they finished seventh after that simulation. This is where the simulation gets a bit controversial as West Ham is in eighth place.West Ham are not a bad team, but for many the Hammers will fall this season. Even so, David Moyes' team could end up somewhere close with a hot streak of form as they are talented. They just don't seem to be able to come together. Two other slightly controversial decisions by the simulator are that Leicester and Wolves finish ninth and tenth respectively. Leicester is a very good team despite its far from substantial budget and has shown it for a number of years in a row, finishing in the top five again last year.Likewise, the Wolves had another great season last year finishing seventh and looking unstoppable at times.Only 11 points separated the 11th and relegation zones, and that 11th place was Crystal Palace.Twelfth was newly promoted Leeds United, thirteenth was Southampton and fourteenth was another newly promoted team at Fulham. As mentioned above, the gap between all of these teams is a matter of a point or two, which means this is a potentially very exciting season finale if it really is the case in real life.Brighton is 15th and Newcastle United is 16th.Both seem pretty reasonable with Newcastle battling for Mike Ashley and Brighton support last season as well. While there have been some controversial placements from certain teams, Burnleys is perhaps the most controversial of them all. This Sim put her in 17th place. After another good season for Sean Dyche's boys last season, 17th place seems a bit of a stretch.Even so, there can be worse things. At the first drop spot, the Sim had recently climbed West Brom and was on his way to the championship.Sheffield United is in 19th place.Chris Wilder's men had a really good season last season and exceeded all hopes and expectations. So it seems difficult to have them next season.Despite the loss of star goalkeeper Dean Henderson, this is certainly not enough to bring them down from their last stand of the season. In the background was Aston Villa.Again, this seems unlikely, especially with Jack Grealish sticking to it, but it's not something that absolutely surprises anyone.Do you agree with the simulation and what the FIFA 21 Career Mode said about the new Premier League season?
