I watched a film called 'concussion'. It is a American biographical sports drama thriller film. The film stars Will Smith as Dr. Bennet Omalu, a forensic pathologist who fights against the National Football League trying to suppress his research on chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) brain degeneration suffered by professional football players. Actually, concussion is the most common type of traumatic brain injury. The common causes include sports injuries, bicycle accidents, car accidents and falls. The physical signs and symptoms include headache, dizziness, vomiting, nausea, lack of motor coordination, difficulty balancing or other problems with movement or sensation. The cognitive and emotional signs and symptoms include confusion, disorientation, difficulty focusing attention, crankiness, loss of interest in favorite activities or items, tearfulness and displays of emotion that are inappropriate to the situation. Concussion can be related to sport because sport player will involved in different kind of sport that contain body collision such as soccer, american football and rugby. When they are participating in the competition, they will collide together unconsciously. Unfortunately, we seldom hear about concussion in sports on newspaper or in television. It is because if their are a lot of cases exists about concussion when participating in the specific sport, public will think and considerate that whether they join the sport or not. Therefore, that specific kind of sport will be deducted the number of participant and will be declined.
