Similar to the Vitamix A2500, it's made of metal and plastic that feels very sturdy. There aren't any noticeable flaws in the build, and it looks and feels very premium and high-end.Main Jar/Beaker The main jar of this blender should be large enough for most uses, but similar to the Smeg BLF01, its capacity is on the small side for a full-size blender. It fits onto the base in any orientation and has a comfortable handle. If you want a blender that performs similarly but has a slightly larger jar, you may also want to consider the Ninja Mega Kitchen System BL770 or the Vitamix 5300.Blades The Blendtec Classic 575 blender has two blunt blades. Unlike the Smeg BLF01's blade assembly, they can't be removed from the jar. On the plus side, you can put the jar and blades in your dishwasher.Lid The lid is similar to the lid for the Vitamix 5200. It has two tabs that clip onto the jar to help it stay in place. The middle part is removable, which gives you a fairly big opening to use the tamper that comes with the blender or add ingredients mid-blend. It's also dishwasher-safe.In The BoxMotor base48 oz main jarTwo-part lidMini-tamperCookbookMotor baseWildSide+ jar and lidOwner's manualBlendtec-patented SpoonulaBlendtec Classic 575VariantsClassic 575 (Black w/ Spoonula)Classic 575 (White w/ Spoonula)Dimensions Weight: 7.6 lbs (3.5 kg)Depth: 8.0" (20.3 cm)Width: 7.3" (18.7 cm)Height: 15.2" (38.7 cm)Build Quality The Blendtec 575 is decently well-built and its blade and motor assembly feel very solid. This variant comes with a 'Spoonula' or a hybrid spoon/spatula, which is designed to easily scoop out food from the uniquely shaped jar without damaging the blades. It also has grippy feet to keep the blender from moving around too much if you're blending something more intense like nuts or frozen bananas on high speed. However, some parts of the blender feel a little cheap such as the control panel and the display. The display cover even appears to be peeling off of our test unit, which doesn't look or feel nice. There's also an exposed circuit board on the underside of the base, which you can see through a vent. If you're looking for a better-built full-size model, try the Vitamix Explorian E520.Main Jar/Beaker The main jar of this blender is the WildSide+, which has a fifth side that is designed to slightly change the angle of the blending vortex so that you can better blend frozen ingredients. It has a maximum capacity of 90 oz; however, Blendtec recommends that the finished product doesn't exceed the 36 oz marking line on the jar. Regardless, it still holds a good amount of liquid in it, so you can make multiple smoothies in one go. The blade is also screwed directly into the jar, and while you can't remove it, the whole jar can be put in the dishwasher for an easy clean.Blades This blender has four sharp blades that aren't meant to be removed. While you can remove the blade assembly using tools, doing so voids the warranty. On the bright side, the jar is dishwasher-safe to make cleaning a bit easier.LidThe lid feels flexible and it has a removable section in the middle with vented shafts to allow steam to escape when blending hot food together. In The BoxMotor baseWildSide+ jar and lidOwner's manualBlendtec-patented SpoonulaWebsite: https://ladydeep.net/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/LadydeepKCTwitter: https://twitter.com/haucao09Wordpress: https://orderhangnhatladydeep.wordpress.com/
