I know that you're probably coming to the Gold Coast to have some fun electric scooter in the sun, relax and perhaps even go for a swim, but getting to and from some of the best places on the Gold Coast can be a bit of a hassle if you don't have your own transportation.I recommend getting a scooter. Yes, the 50cc beast is probably the best possible vehicle for transportation around the gold coast. Anyone can ride one. You can park it anywhere and not worry about parking fines. And it won't cost you much in fuel! So, if you are staying anywhere around Surfers Paradise, Main Beach, Labrador or even Tweed Heads, you should really considering getting a scooter to get around. But after you hire a scooter (otherwise known as a moped in some countries) where should you go? Well let me share a few different spots which are definitely worth checking out.If you are into shopping, make sure you check out Pacific fair Plaza, Harbour Town and Australia Fair (Aussie Fair Mall). Pacific Fair is located just besides the Jupiter's Casino and is the largest shopping mall on the Gold Coast. If you are looking for great deals, check out Australia Fair and Harbour Town. Pacific Fair is about a 10 minute ride from Surfers Paradise. It is absolutely huge and it was built with an open concept. You can lounge in the sun while you shop!If you are into beaches, make sure you check out the Spit. Us, locals, love our Spit. You can dive off the rocks and snorkel, or head to the sandy beach for a surf or swim. Serious surfers usually swim across the Spit (channel) to Wavebreak Island where the waves break perfectly almost every day of the year.If you are into adventure parks, there are quite a few different attractions all over the gold coast. Let's start with Adrenalin Park. Here you can do some basic bungy jumping, go on a few different rides and even play some mini golf. I know, that is not so adrenalin like, but after a few rides, it is definitely a thing to do. Than, you have Time Zone where you can play video games. For about $20 you can play for 2 hours solid. They even include a solid laser tag game in your pass. For more extreme stuff, try out the Warner Brothers Studios, or Dream World Adventure Park. Both parks have amazing rides. You can spend a whole day on the roller coasters or in their water parks (We n Wild and Waterworld). But the best part of it all is that you will be riding around the Gold Coast, not having to wait for a bus and not having to walk too much. By getting onto a scooter you will experience what the locals experience, won't waste time, and have an absolute blast while you are here. Then of course, there is the Gold Coast Night life...
