At 2016 March, because one of my subject required, all of the SRM students need to become a volunteer in this event. I seldom join these kind of event and become a volunteer because usually the event time would crash with my training time, so I think the volunteer work is new to me. On that day, I need to wake up at 4:00am because the gathering time of the volunteers are 6:00am. We travel to the venue by shuttle bus provided by the organiser, which is a good arrangement for the volunteers because it is hard to find public transports at that time. We arrived the venue and start to work, there are volunteers team leaders in charge of the volunteer teams, some schoolmates and I were divided to the front gate to assist the unboxing of the water, it took us a long time and the orders from the leaders are still clear. When the event officially start, the orders from the leaders start to become a mess, the leaders have their different orders and crash with each others. The volunteers were confused because we do not know who should we listen to, it took us a long time to solve every problem. In my option, I think as a event organiser, the organiser should provide training to the volunteer leaders in order to have a better control of volunteer and can run the event smoothly.
