Concussion is a 2015 American biographical sports drama thriller film directed and written by Peter Landesman, and produced by Ridley Scott, Giannina Scott, David Wolthoff, Larry Shuman, and Elizabeth Cantillon, based on the exposé "Game Brain" by Jeanne Marie Laskas, published in 2009 by GQ magazine. The plot of the movie is about in Pittsburgh, accomplished pathologist Dr. Bennet Omalu uncovers the truth about brain damage in football players who suffer repeated concussions in the course of normal play. After watching the movie, I think my awareness of sports increased because this movie shock me. Before watching this movie, I did not know play football would cause the serious concussion injury. But after watching the movie, I start to aware of the safety of playing sports. In the movie, the rugby players crash with each other with their heads or their heads have serious concussion. It cause them become crazy and commit suicide. It remind me that every sport have their risk for getting hurt and may cause serious injuries, so we need to protect ourselves while playing sports such as wear appropriate gears and clothing. Also, avoid unnecessary body contact in order to protect ourselves while playing any kind of sports.
