Bus 15: Skaftafell > Jökulsárlón “The stunning Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon is around 18 square kilometers and its maximum depth reaches more than 200 meters. There are numerous icebergs floating on the lagoon, which have broken off from the main glacier, and slowly melting in the lagoon. The age of the ice is between 1000 and 1500 years. The lagoon itself is a popular scouting location for big Hollywood productions. Two Bond- movies, A View to a Kill and Die Another Day, were partially shot there.
