I have experienced several voluntary services, the most memorable once was the Special Olympics. In the service, I was distributed as a data recorder, inputting the data into the computer. It was amazing to know that athletes with special needs can do as good as normal people, and some of them even run faster than us. It was good to have such a memorable experience to communicate and work with the special needs student and athletes, during the competition I observed something that I need to improve. Those special needs athletes don’t give up when they are depressed and fall behind, which is important for me when I am having a competition and facing difficulties such as study. Moreover, they are happy all the time, they won’t feel sad or low self-esteem with their physical defect. In fact, they are energetic and full of positive energy, it was great to have such experience to spend time with them, it worth and I would like to have more service with them. Actually, i think they are same as us, they live happily, fruitfully. I think we should learn something from them, their spirit is just something we don't have, they never give up even they are physically/mentally defect.
