Today I will be sharing with you a Korean restaurant I go quite often as well as one of my favourite dishes in the Korean cuisine. 今天要和你們分享我在旺角蠻常吃的韓國餐廳,還有韓國菜中我最愛的其中一個! (비빔Korean Restaurant) (Bibim Korean Restaurant in Mong Kok) Bibim(비빔) means mix. Bap is rice. So the bibimbap you eat and see a lot in the Korean dramas is basically mixed rice. Bibimbap has a variety of vegetables for one type of meat with white rice. In Korea, most of the restaurants I came across serve bibimbap with beef. In most of the Korean restaurants in Hong Kong they usually have chicken, pork, beef and vegetarian for you to choose from. The vegetable used is depended on the restaurants recipe, carrots and bean shots are always included though. Bibim (비빔) 有拌的意思。 Bap(밥)是米飯的意思。所以你在很多韓劇的看到的拌飯真的是拌飯。 拌飯通常是不同種類的蔬菜和一種肉放在飯上。韓國吃通常時牛肉。香港的韓國餐廳通常都會有雞,豬,牛還有素的選擇。拌的蔬菜是看餐廳的喜好。但不會缺的是豆芽,紅蘿蔔絲, Bibimbap have the options of regular bowls or the stone pot. I used to always get the stone pot one since it stays hot. However, I have recently changed to liking the regular bowl since I can eat it faster without burning myself. 拌飯通過可以選用普通碗和石鍋碗。我之前是無條件點石鍋的。但最近開始喜歡普通碗。雖然石鍋比較休溫,但普通的碗可以吃比較快,也不會燙到嘴巴和舌頭。 (돌석비빔밥 , Stone pot bibimbap, 石鍋拌飯) Next time when you eat stone pot bibimbap, try to let some rice sit at the bottom. When you are almost done, there will be some crispy, crunchy rice for you to eat 下次吃石鍋拌飯時可以盡量不要碰底部的飯,最後就有鍋巴/飯焦吃了。 I also recently fell in love with Kimchi fried rice! (김치볶음밥) I didn't enjoy eating Kimchi before but has been liking it more lately. So I decided to finally give kimchi fried rice a go, and I love it! 我最近還愛上了泡菜炒飯!(김치볶음밥)我之前不太喜歡吃泡菜,但最近有比較喜歡吃。所以決定吃一次泡菜炒飯,一吃就愛上了! (김치볶음밥 Kimchi Fried Rice) (泡菜炒飯) Kimchi friend rice, contains kimchi, rice and usually pork. Most of the restaurants place an egg and seaweed on top as well. I have eaten once that there was cheese in it! So yummy! Kimchi fried rice can be really spicy, so make sure you have some water or drinks near by if you are not good with spicy food. Thats the reason why I haven't tried kimchi fried rice in Korea, I can't do spicy food really well. 泡菜炒飯,一般都有泡菜,米飯和豬肉。大部分的餐廳在炒飯上會放雞蛋和紫菜。我還吃過有放芝士在裡面的! 超好吃!泡菜炒飯可能會很辣,如果你不能吃太辣的話一定要確保你有水或飲料。這也是為什麼我還沒有在韓國吃過泡菜炒飯的原因,我不太能吃辣。 That's it for today.
