Today I am going to share with you a unique guesthouse located in Myeongdong. To me is one of the best places to stay in Seoul. :-) 今天我要和你們分享位於明洞一家很特別的民宿。對我來說是首爾最好住的地方啦～ This guesthouse is called, Mom house. MOM is short term for Music On the Mountain. This guesthouse is opened and own by Super Junior member Cho Kyuhyun. Just to let you know, MOM House is full of Kyuhyun's pictures, everywhere. So if you are planning to stay here with friends or family members who aren't fans of his, mentally prepare them first. My family were sort of in shock when they first arrive. LOL 這民宿就是MOM House啦~ MOM是Music on the Mountain 的縮寫哦~ 有些人可能已經聽過了。這是Super Junior的圭賢開的民宿。提醒你一下，MOM House到處都有圭賢的照片哦，所以如果打算和不是飯的人一起住最好先給他們心理準備哦。我8月和家人來他們就有點嚇到(笑)。 (MOM House's website outlook) (MOM House 網首頁) Mom house is located opposite the well known Myeongdong shopping district so it is perfect for a little quiet area away from the crowded. It only takes a 1 minute walk from exit 2. Airport buses 6001 and 6015 are just across the street! MOM House位於明洞的購物街對面，算是在鬧市中比較安靜的地方。從明洞2號出口只要走一分鐘就到了。機場巴士6001，6015站也在對面馬路超方便的。 How to get there 怎麼去 (Exit 2, go straight, go pass the pedestrian crossing. If you cross the road on your left, its the popular shopping district in Myeongdong. ) （2號出口直走經過紅綠燈。過左邊的馬路的話可以逛明洞啦。） (When you see this "Alpha' show, turn right) （看到這家Alpha向右轉） (Look up and there it is) (抬頭看就看到了） I found another way to get to the hostel. As I find that exit 2 is always busy and crowded(since it is near exit 6's direction), I tried going from exit 1. It has only few step of stairs and has an escalator to the ground. 因為之前只會用2號出口，每次因為在6號出口附近都超多人。這次我找到了更方便，少人的出口！就是從1號出口出，它也是有自動電梯的哦～ After you reach the ground, turn right and walk straight. 到地面後右轉直走 1 minute later you will see the Prince hotel, then turn left to go up the hill. And you have arrived your destination. (GPS Mode lol) 走一分鐘後你會看到王子酒店，然後左轉上坡，你已到達目的地。 （GPS模式笑） Mom house is a 6+1 floor building by it self, next to Prince hotel. The price is between hostels and hotels, really worth it for the location and facilities. There is a lift on the ground floor so you don’t have to worry about carrying your heavy luggage even if you are staying at the 5th floor.Mom house has a variety of rooms, from single rooms to family room for up to 5 people. I have stayed in both single rooms and family rooms (4 people) and liked them. The sizes of both room are good. Each rooms has Wi-Fi, a TV, little fridge, hair dryer and mirror outside of the bathroom, which is handy. They provide body wash, shampoo and hair conditioners like most of the guesthouse and hostels. MOM House是6+1層樓的獨立建築物。旁邊是王子飯店。價格是民宿和酒店之間，以位置和提供的設施來說很值得。1樓有電梯，所以住5樓也不用擔心要自己搬行李啦。MOM House有不同類型的客房，從單人到最多可容納5人的家庭客房都有。我住過單人和家庭用（4人住）都喜歡。兩間房間的大小是不錯的。每個房間都有wifi, 電視，小冰箱，吹風機和化妝台。他們還提供的沐浴露，洗髮水和護髮素。 (This is the floor plan screenshot from MOM House's website) (這是MOM House官網上樓層分佈的截圖) Café is open from 8am -9pm. 2/F – 5/F are guest rooms. There are common areas between floors where there are full size fridges, cutleries, cups, microwaves, washing machine and more facilities for you to use. But remember to put them back where they are after you are done. There is also a sky garden on the rooftop area. 咖啡廳的營業時間是上午8時到晚上9點。 2樓到6樓是客房。中間層還有公用空間和設施，像冰箱，餐具，水杯，微波爐，洗衣機等等供你使用。但要記得用完要洗好放回原位。天台也有個空中花園。 (Common space - they have washing machine, microwave, fridge and more. Make sure you follow the instructions and treat the facilities nicely!) （公共空間 - 他們有洗衣機，微波爐，冰箱等等。請按照說明使用和善待公共設施哦! ） （Rooftop at daytime) (日間的頂樓) （This is a picture of the roof top at night, so pretty) (這是晚上在天台拍的，很漂亮對吧) Mom house provides breakfast from 8 to 9:30 at the 1st floor café. There is toast, cereal, orange juice and more. Kyu's dad is usually there at breakfast time, so if you can speak some Korean, don't forget to say hi to him. I think he enjoys chatting to fans, so go ahead and talk to him if he is available. MOM House在一樓的咖啡廳提供早餐，早上8點到9點30分，會提供吐司，麥片，橙汁等等。圭賢的爸爸通常在早餐的時候會在，會韓文的朋友記得跟他打招呼哦。我覺得圭爸蠻喜歡跟飯聊天的，所以不害羞可以主動跟他講話哦~ The cafe on the first floor is very spacious. They display fan arts and presents for Kyu around the cafe. 一樓咖啡廳很寬敞，到處都展示了飯送給的圭賢的畫和禮物。 點擊圖片放大 (Mom house cafe now provide board games now. (Last time I went at Christmas time, I knew that Mom house has a christmas tree from facebook. So I made two angels Kyu and gave one to Kyu mum. She liked it and hang it on the tree right away~ So cute right, I got Kyu's pictures from his twitter posts.) （上次是在聖誕節的時候去Mom house的. 到韓國前有看到MOM House臉書說有棵聖誕樹，所以決定做2個天使圭的裝飾 送了一個給圭媽，她喜歡就立該把他掛到樹上！超可愛的對吧！圭賢的圖我是從圭的Twitter上拿的。） (Hi there, Angel Kyu~) (看！是天使圭耶~) On the third day of my July 2016 trip, as I was chatting to Kyu dad, a Hong Kong girl came over and ask if we are available on the 30th as it is her birthday and she is here in Korea by herself. We talked in Cantonese and Kyu dad asked if we were speaking canto so I said yes and explain the girl's situation. He immediately said he will sing happy birthday to her on the 30th 9am at the cafe and pulled out his phone and created an event on his calendar! On the 30th July, I went to get a cake for the birthday girl and arrived the cafe at around 9am. Kyu mom and dad(and cafe staff) prepared a brownie cake and I gave them the cake I brought. 在我2016年7月的旅行的第三天早上，我在和圭爸聊天時一個香港女孩走了過來問我們在30號可不可以跟她一齊過生日。因為她自己在韓國。我們在講廣東話的時候圭爸爸問我們在講什麼我就解釋了她的情況。他說我在咖啡店給你唱生日快樂！說30日早上9點就拿出他的手機還在他的日曆寫上了！在7月30日那天早上，我先去對面的TLJ買生日蛋糕，大概9點到咖啡店。圭媽媽和爸爸（和咖啡廳的工作人員）其實也準備了布朗尼塊蛋糕。我也拿了我買的蛋糕。 (Left is the cake I bought, right is Mom house's brownie cake) (左邊的是我買的，右邊是Mom House準備的) Then Kyu dad started singing 'Happy birthday' and asked the whole cafe to sing along lol. On the rooftop there is a Hanbok experiment room, which is quite new I believe. Not because I get to see Kyu's face everyday, but for the facilities and services I received. Even my parents and sister who does not have much interest in Kpop said they would come back again. Mom house's rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. So, in general, I would definitely recommend this hostel. Not only because I am Kyu bias, but for its location and facilities, it is absolutely worth the money. 我在MOM House住過幾次都很喜歡。不是因為是圭賢開的，也不是因為可以到處都看到圭賢的照片（笑）。以設施和服務來講我覺得很不錯。他們的房間很乾淨，很寬敞也很舒適。所以我會推薦這家民宿。（再強調）不是偏心於我圭，以位置地點和設施來講已經值得這價錢了～下次去首爾的時候可以考慮看看哦~ Reminder: Mom house can be booked through Agoda now.
