Vanilla's vanilla characters didn't like their Tier Gear because it wasn't properly described or didn't match their spec (feral Druid DPS warlord, for instance,). In the tbc, every specs tier gear is decent or WOW Classic TBC Gold even better, so overall I think there's a lesser chance of waiting to get adequate gear.For example in mc there's a few upgrades for feral tank and some were extremely sought after (accuria and the agi-cloak off rag). Tier gear was ineffective other to a few items being suitable for a fire resist tank set. Other parts, like the large dark iron ring that was heavy and the shoulders for fireguards, were dropped. It wasn't a lot of fun.Though not as memorable I believe it's because there are more choices. You could, for example, have three pants. You could have one heroic and one Kara and one of the designed pants. The bis could slightly surpass the other options. If you were playing vanilla, you'd progress from that blue dungeon, to the one and only upgrade available for buy TBC Classic Gold that phase.
