Recently, I started experiencing discomfort in my teeth and thought about booking a dentist in Hong Kong. To my surprise, the earliest appointment I could get was two weeks later! The shortage of dentists in Hong Kong is truly alarming.I want to share my experience from yesterday at Vickong Dental,and I can confidently say it was the right choice.First of all, the service was incredibly thoughtful. I found the clinic through online recommendations, but since I had never been to Shenzhen for dental care, I wasn't sure how to get to the clinic after crossing the border. The receptionist kindly arranged a car to pick me up right outside the checkpoint, making my trip to the clinic so much more convenient. When I arrived, an English-speaking staff member was assigned to assist me throughout the process. They guided me through the X-ray and initial examination, explaining what was wrong with my teeth before bringing me to the dentist. Together, we reviewed the CT scan, and the dentist explained that my gum disease wasn't too severe but that I had some other issues requiring a deep cleaning. The cleaning process went smoothly and painlessly, thanks to the dentist's meticulous care. Later, I also needed to have a tooth extracted because one of my teeth was already dead. The dentist carefully checked my condition, explained the procedure, and had me sign a consent form before administering anesthesia and proceeding with the extraction. Afterward, they treated my gum disease and had me stay for half an hour to ensure the bleeding had stopped. They even provided me with anti-inflammatory and pain relief medication and arranged for my return to the checkpoint. Such thoughtful service灬! After experiencing this myself, I'm genuinely happy and feel compelled to leave a review. I'll definitely return to continue my dental care. I used to dread going to the dentist, but not anymore. This was such a positive experience.
