One of the important means to improve the properties of copper strip is to refine the grains by using the refiner, so as to improve the strength, ductility and conductivity. The comprehensive effect of these effects makes the tensile strength and elongation of the material increase obviously within the range of the addition amount of refiner. In this paper, the effect of refiner and its dosage on the structure and properties of H62 brass strip was studied. Test process: batching - melting - pouring - Ingot Milling - heating - hot rolling - cold rolling - annealing - finishing rolling. Test and detection equipment: medium frequency induction furnace, sx-4-10 box type resistance furnace, two high hot rolling mill, four high cold rolling mill, X-fluorescence spectrum analyzer, metallographic microscope, electronic tensile machine, etc. In order to study the influence of the type and amount of the fining agent on the structure and properties of the material, three dosage were selected. For H65 brass, it is necessary to prevent the oxidation of alloy element zinc and reduce the burning loss of zinc during smelting. Therefore, zinc should be compensated in the test and covered with charcoal during smelting. In order to ensure the full and even effect of the fining agent, the fining agent is wrapped with the process waste belt in H65 production, pressed into the middle and lower part of the melt, and fully stirred; after degassing, impurity removal and standing, the fining agent is poured into 80mm & times; 20mm & times; 150 mm ingot; the thickness of the ingot after milling is 18 mm. According to the processing characteristics of H62 brass plate,the ingot is heated at 780 ℃, kept warm for 1h, hot rolled into 4mm thick slab on the two high mill; cold rolled into 1mm thick slab on the four high mill, arranged an intermediate annealing, annealing temperature and annealing time, selected as 600 ℃ and 40min; then rolled into 0.2mm thick strip on the four high mill.
