For Mid-Autumn Festival in the past years I have always been used to gathering round the table with my family enjoying a home-cooked Chinese meal. Ever since my family and I moved to the UK, we no longer take Mid-Autumn Festival as seriously, we still have mooncakes and have a sit down meal when we can. The Ledger Building next to Canary Wharf is part of JD Wetherspoon, its name was kept from the original use of the building, which was used to house ledgers of the West India Docks. Depending on the day of the week, JD Wetherspoon does different clubs along with their normal menu. Thursdays noon – 10pm is curry club, a choice of curry with ; Sundays noon – 6pm is Sunday club, a choice of roast with a drink; and Tuesdays noon- 10pm is Steak Club, a range of steaks and grills with drink. As it was a Thursday evening it was curry club. Inside the pub 點擊圖片放大 Each table has a table number. Once people sit down at a table they will need to go to the bar to order their food quoting the table number, then food will be brought to the table. My chicken tikka masala curry! Each curry comes with papadum, mango chutney, naan bread and rice.
